The auspicious arrival of my darling -not
skinny- nephew, Asher James Parry, was the impetus for our life years-shaving
journey to the cheesesteak epicenter, Philadelphia. Since the C-17 Cargo plane
landed, our dance card has remained enviably and yet exhaustively full. Not only have I attended a family wedding and
watched -aghast- while my mom "danced" like Tevye (from Fiddler
on the Roof), but we have enjoyed endless hours with family (for better or worse). Truly, Eowyn and
Kincaid nearly levitated with elation at the prospect of spending a
weekend at the shore with their favorite relations (namely, Malachi, Palin and
Silas). Though Wildwood, NJ is respectively
less *wild* when you are toting diapers and a jumbo pack of wipes, in this case, location is neglible
and company is indispensable. While weekend excursions to Wildwood no longer include my love-lorn stalking of Tom Rodgers, spending time with his charismatic
family has proven far more rewarding.

Loved spending time with you in WW, NJ. My cheeks still hurt from the laughs. So glad you did what you had to do to get to family! Hope to see you again, real soon.
