This past Monday, my brilliantly clever and crafty cousin Laura (who makes counted cross-stitching seem sexy) and I took our beautiful daughters to a luncheon at a charming tea room in Lederach. Naturally, their fare resembled nothing on the menu but I am quite confident they were both cognitively engaged in the conversation, contributing insightful remarks and satirical banter laced with conservative witticisms. In truth, Anna appears to be far more grounded and well-formed, as not only does she relish such infant delicacies as Avocado (a Vegan habit developed in the blue state of RI), but she is not so easily enticed by glittering diversions. Conversely, her second cousin (and favorite confidant), Eowyn would still rather feast on Cheerios, Goldfish (not the real ones) or Apple Pie (thank you “Naughty Jackie”) when she is not nursing. Furthermore, Eowyn laughs without reservation and sometimes without even any provocation. And while Eowyn simply claps her hands (a new trick) with reckless abandon, Anna is doing gymnastics with intention and purpose. In truth, Anna has “Neuro Surgeon” inscribed in her darling little cheeks, and well, as for Eowyn, I am still hoping she’ll be the first Christian female International Espionage Assassin! In the interim, at least they have the shared blessing of two fabulous mothers!

Looks like my mom didn't take the SPF thing too seriously when I was little. I look like an Indian. Seesh. Anyways, I love that you posted an old photo to compare. I think Eowyn looks a lot more like you than Anna looks like me, don't you think? Anyways, it's confirmed, we have the cutest girls in the world. (I can say this since most of my friends/family have boys!)
