It was our honor to celebrate with our good friends, the Doctors Christian, the imminent arrival of their daughter, Elizabeth. This lovely little soiree, marrying the “Valen-Christmas” themes (compelled by my lingering Christmas tree) was a pleasurable occasion for infant fashion revelry and saccharine indulgences. Eowyn insisted upon attendance in the hopes of securing a lasting friendship with Libby, who will inevitably possess an impressive IQ and a penchant for all things Kentuckian. With great anticipation, we look forward to her advent- the miracle of new life, never a “punishment” under any circumstance!
