This past week, after returning from our Southern excursion, we have had the pleasure of my cousin Jacob's company, having returned from his New Zealand excursion. (Guess whose trip was more exciting) Truly, Jake is the guy at the dinner party whose stories will unfailingly trump any other boastful tale of triumph. This Renaissance man is a decorated war veteran and white water rafting guide who creates delectable nectarine crepes all while still retaining his masculinity. He eschews formality, fashion and frothy coffee, but indulgently attends Eowyn's tea parties, daintily sipping "air" with all the gentility of an English lord. I love this guy and hate his departures...almost as much as Obamacare.

Loved the pictures ... but not much could be worse than Obamacare. I feel like Jacob is Waldo from "Where's Waldo". He just needs the red beanie. Where will he turn up next?????
By the way ... as the cousins grow older, they are developing an uncanny resemblance to each other, i.e. David, Andrew, Caleb .... or it could be my eyesight is dimming greatly. Regardless, what handsome guys we have in our family:)
great pics.....i don't know jake very well but his brother is a big hit over in this house...uncle caleb rocks with my boys!
