Red Radio Flyer wagons are almost as endemic to American culture as apple pie, baseball and the NRA. Thus, we would be remiss to exclude the requisite picture of what “Stay At Home” moms do when they are not watching Oprah, eating Bon-Bons or QVC shopping. So, featured in the photo is Malachi (Kulp) Coleman, Eowyn and an anonymous child that is babysat by my sister Erika. However, in real life, Eowyn enjoyed being the “rose between” for about five minutes into the walk, when her tolerance for being assailed by two hefty young toddlers who found her femininity to be frankly irresistible – had expired and she insisted upon being carried, much like an WASP version of an Arabian Princess. So, here’s to Spring, Walks in red radio flyers, Easter (and a moral President who loves unborn babies and doesn’t use an Escort service!)
