Our conclusive, commemorative meal of 2010 was an intimate family dinner party at the incomparable Ruth’s Chris Steak House, where their delectable filets could bring a devout vegan to their knees in conversion to both hunting season and the Republican party. The after party, preceding midnight, was a celebration of Jason’s cousin's 40th birthday, a milestone belied by his youthful spirit and contagious smile. I will leave you with my current reigning favorite quote of Eowyn from 2011: “Mommy, I am saving some of my M & Ms for Daddy. Jesus will be so happy that I am sharing.” And I am confident He was.
