Apparently, March is a great month to have a baby or 9 months previous there was a surge in Barry White record sales (think about it). Either way, Eowyn and Kincaid have been hitting the toddler birthday circuit pretty hard over the past four successive weekends... and we hardly know anyone on the island.
If I am vulnerably honest, the parental creativity of the party architects is -well- flatly intimidating. Gone are the days of cake and ice-cream and a balloon to take home from your friend's plain-old backyard birthday bash. From the iconic Shutterfly invitations and Dr. Suess themes to the inflatable bouncy houses and baby shrimp closed ecosystem party favors (seriously), the stakes in this party-throwing game are competitively raised.
Not that we haven't loved every minute of it... okay, save for the last few moments, when "operation party extraction" is complicated by saccharine-induced meltdowns and fits of exhausted rage. Then, no amount of Barry White and oysters could persuade you to have another baby- even a March one.

That would get tiring for sure, but YOU'RE AT THE BEACH. Did I just shout that at you?? Sorry, maybe just a little jealous.
