Up from the Grave He Arose

. . . And down to an early grave Jason near went. Apparently, federal contract law is no respecter of sacred holidays and so Jason was whisked away to Charlottesville, VA to improve his legal acumen for God and country on the very eve of Easter. Meanwhile, back in the tropic of O'ahu, the children and I -abandoned- were left to celebrate the resurrection - for the first time ever- without family. *Cue morose violin music* But, we rallied- dare I say- even rose to the occasion. Welcoming two other "orphan" families (Mainland transplants with no island kin), we celebrated the redemption of mankind with a modest feast on fine bone china- a nearly extinct tradition I'm campaigning to resurrrect- with much merry-making.

And with gladness of heart for how great a debt forgiven, we pardoned Jason for his holiday absence.
