This was the last one- our final Valentine soiree on this sultry isle. The beginning of the end of our tropical tryst. No more membership renewals. No more sun screen scented sheets. No more flip flops in February. . . Repeating traditions forged February's past, my fake little Hawaiians frolicked pool side with their favorite friends. Much more mindful of my fortune, I have been. Caught by whimsical surprise, these measured moments fashion a "paradise" not featured in brochures. Treasured memories on a lazy February day -forsaken soon by Hallmark but not forgotten soon by us.
