On the Road Again.

So thrilled to be out of the car

John Boy often waxed poetic about Charlottesville, VA and frankly, I cannot blame him. Perhaps for the Waltons it was the lure of cheap Moonshine in the “big” city, like it is for me. Kidding. In truth, it is the romance- the beatific seduction of another era peeking out of the Blue Ridge foothills. Charlottesville boasts of both imperial Jeffersonian architecture and provincial Confederate charm. While Jason appreciates century old wineries as much as the next combat veteran, he is more so drawn here by the mandatory JAG training. (Though I did just catch him absorbed in the “gripping" conclusion of Hallmark’s Love Comes Softly. Concerning or Cute- I cannot decide). Nevertheless, it is here that we find ourselves, once again, for the umpteenth time qualifying Eowyn -in my opinion- for UVA in-state tuition rates.

...stay tuned...

Come home ... I miss your cheery presence and wise guidance for decorating tips. I miss Eowyn's little quips and Kincaid's darling smile. Come home ..... :(

He does look relieved. They picked a good poster boy!
