Braveheart Birthday

"And dying in your beds years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they will never take our FREEDOM! Alba gu bra (Scotland Forever!)”

This revolutionary speech was the theme of Kincaid Wallace’s first tartan birthday party - his video montage captured the highlights of his inaugural year even featuring the famed Braveheart battle cry. William Wallace, the great liberator of Scotland was the inspiration for the evening’s festivities. Some might contend that a bloodied warrior (and nighttime party) is incongruous with a baby’s birthday bash. And they would be wrong. Both Eowyn and Kincaid rally to any social occasion regardless of the hour. A champagne toast in his honor, enveloped by adoring family, Kincaid was the most darling, dimpled warrior prince, lacking only a tartan kilt. (Jason drew the line of emasculation at the “Scottish skirt”)

While preparing Caid to be a political luminary with the integrity of William Wallace is one of desires, our greater prayer is that he “shine like the stars in the universe as he holds forth the word of life.” Happy Birthday Caiders!
